Your mission served your country. It served to remind us all of our proud heritage of a nation. To remind us that in this stage of technicians and scientific marvels that the individual still counts. That in a crisis, the character of a man or men, will make the difference. Adversity brings out the character of a man. Confronted suddenly and unexpectedly with grave peril in the far reaches of space, he demonstrated a calm courage and quiet heroism that stands as an example to men everywhere. This safe return is a triumph of the human spirit of those special qualities of man himself we rely on when machines fail. And we rely on also for those things that machines cannot do.

老板在参加MBA考试时看了这部影片，然后推荐给我了，告诉我做Leader时应该注意的事情，我想他应该说的是控制中心的总指挥吧，确实是雷厉风行，才得以稳住大局。而汉克斯的leadership应该是说他用自己的信念，成为了大家的精神领袖，让大家临危不乱，冷静面对，就像他妈妈说的那样，即使是坐在洗衣机里也能飞回来。
话说回来，这部影片看的不仅是leadership，还有其中的每个细节，虽然都是编剧刻意安排，但如果想想自己就是Lovell或者是总指挥，或者是任何一个角色，如何在这样的高度精确工作中扮演好自己的岗位，来完成这样伟大的使命，仔细体会，还是值得回味。
As part of an MBA class I have to watch and write an essay over a movie every week. This week's movie is "Apollo 13", a movie that I recommend to you too.
There are many lessons one can learn from this movie. The one that I would like to point to is that great leaders ask A LOT of their team!
很多年后，重看这部片子，仍然觉得好看。不过好看之余，我还有了一些理性思考，写下来，自我激励。
1.做任何事之前都会有一些征兆，好的和坏的。如果你过于自负，或者太想要成功，就会对这些征兆视而不见，降低了警惕性，丧失了分析征兆、预处理的机会。
2．团队间的相互信任非常重要。如果你对你的队友不信任，那就在开始之前将他拒之门外，但是，一旦成为了队友，就要百分百的信任。
3．当出现紧急情况时，一定要冷静，不要慌乱，一旦乱了阵脚就等于自取灭亡。迅速从千丝万缕中理出头绪
