Terrence Winter, the creator of HBO’s Boardwalk Empire, has talked recently about the writing process of the series, and gave some hints on the show’s second season. The shooting for the new season of Boardwalk will begin in January 31, and will chronicle the year 1921.
Terrence says: “The parallels that exist between 1920 and today are evident. The corruption of 90 years ago was the same as it is today. Follow the money, and you’ll almost always have your answer for whatever happens in the world. The more research I did and the more we wrote the series, the more I said, ‘God, it hasn’t changed a bit.’”
So, based on what Winter had said, I did some digging about 1921 Atlantic City. This list of speculations does not discuss the season finale, or where we left off Nucky and the rest of the gang. This I will do later, when some more spoilers will reach my machine..
