Since its global premiere on Apple TV+, 'Physical' has won unanimous praise from audiences and critics, as well as a cast led by the 'perfect cast' and 'exquisite' Rose Byrne, as well as performances starring Rory Scovel, Dierdre Friel, and Paul Sparks. Physics "is a half hour black comedy set in the sunny but fragile beach paradise of Santiago in the 1980s, telling the story of Sheila Rubin (played by Byrne). But when she closed the door, Sheila had her own dark and humorous view of life that she rarely let the world see. She also struggles with a series of complex personal demons related to her self-image... that is, until she finds release through the most unlikely source: the world of aerobic exercise. In the second season, it was discovered that Byrne successfully released her first fitness video, but encountered some new and larger obstacles on her path. She is torn between her loyalty to her husband (played by Rory Scoville) and the values he represents, as well as her dangerous attraction to others. As she was no longer the only athlete in the city, she found herself having to surpass some fierce new competitors on the path of building a complete fitness empire. Physical is produced by Tomorrow Studios (a partner of ITV Studios) and created, written, and produced by Weisman, who is also a program producer. The drama is directed by Stephanie Laing, who also serves as the executive producer for "Tomorrow's Studio" and "Byrne" alongside Adelstein, Clements, and Bachner.
